Peter Gibson MP has welcomed the news that the Theatre Hullabaloo has been awarded funding from Arts Council England.

Arts Council England have boosted investment in places where historically public investment in creativity and culture has been underserved.
This includes £130 million over the next three years in 78 Levelling Up for Culture Places including your constituency. That is an increase of 95% compared to our previous investment in 2018-22.
This is Arts Council England’s largest regular investment, and the funding will ensure that more people in more places than ever before will have access to fantastic, fulfilling art and culture in the villages, towns and cities where they live.
Peter Gibson said “This investment will greatly help the Theatre Hullabaloo and will make a real difference to people, not just hear in Darlington but across Tees Valley.
“This investment will promote culture and creative activities and puts creativity at the heart of our community”.
