This year I would like help from Primary and Junior School children across Darlington to design my Christmas card for 2020.
The winner of the competition and two runners up will have their designs featured on my official Christmas card which will be sent to community groups, public service organisations, and local charities across the constituency, as well as the Prime Minister and members of the Cabinet.
There will be prizes for two runners up and an overall winner, whose name, age and school will be printed on the card. The winner will also be invited to collect their trophy either from me or I will visit the school to present it.
To enter the competition the artists must be Primary or Junior School pupils. All entries should be submitted on A4 paper in felt tip pen. For reproduction purposes we're asking artists to avoid using glitter or sticking anything on to their pictures. No digital designs please. The following details should be clearly stated on the back of their artwork:
- Name of pupil
- Age
- Year Group
- Name of School
If your child would like to enter the competition, please send their entries to my constituency office at Office of Peter Gibson MP, 34 Duke Street, Darlington, DL3 7AQ by Friday 30th October. The winner will be announced on my website week commencing 9th November.
